Data Collective (DCVC) is a venture capital fund that backs entrepreneurs applying deep tech to transform giant industries. DCVC and its principals have supported brilliant people changing global-scale businesses for over twenty years, helping create tens of billions of dollars of wealth while also making the world a markedly better place.
In rebranding the firm we wanted to keep the green color that was very much a part of their existing identity alluding to the history of code and screens. However everyone refers to the company as DCVC so it made sense to use an acronym for the logo. We gave the logo a little twist by turning the ‘V’ on it’s side to represent the ‘greater than symbol’. Essentially as a VC firm they advise and back their portfolios to help them become greater and achieve their ultimate goals.
