The European Investment Fund is an institution helping SMEs getting access to finance. It aims to improve its connection with SMEs. This is why they wanted to share an appealing report that people would actually read, since annual reports are not normally the most attractive publications. They needed to do a publication that brought numbers and results closer to humans, so people could relate with its content and find an interest in it. Its content structure and tone of voice were adapted to do so, likewise design should also be clear and close.
Bright colors, illustrations based on human interactions, a magazine editorial style and natural pictures of people were the visual key elements that gave the look and feel goals the project needed.
