Falado

Grup Camera, after nearly 30 years, sought a fresh identity to reflect classical music traditions, Barcelonan heritage, and the art of music. Their aim was to entice a younger audience without alienating long-term followers. 

Grup Camera includes sub-brands Ibercamera, a concert series; AgenciaCamera, artist management; La Filarmónica, another concert series in Madrid; and Falado, a youth-oriented festival.

We assigned each brand a unique identity, merging them with a shared aesthetic balancing modern and classic elements. To this end, we developed a custom typeface, Fálado, influenced by Barcelona Modernism and classical instruments. We revamped artist representation by commissioning illustrator Berto Martinez to create watercolor portraits in a modern style. 

Supported by a tagline, “Live the Classic,” the new identity resonated well with their audience and attracted new listeners.
