The Arboretum Business Park is an elegant business building in Barcelona, which offers spaces for business of high arquitectural value. The client asked us to generate an identity which would project the idea of business centre and also identify the specific value of a unique and special place.
To comunícate through the identity the basic material which the client sells –space–, and the importance it is given, a little typographic twist was applied. The final ‘m’ in the Arboretum logo includes an elevated ‘2’, the international mathematic symbol for the square space, and in particular of the square meter. The idea of square space was reinforçed throughout the corporate language. Signage elements include the illusion of the square space through the highlight of two of its sides, being this elements also a lighting system for the typography, and the website used square spaces to generate typographical hierarchy.
