The client needed a brand which could express an ambitious vision for applied technology coupled with a sense of confidence. The story explained to both investors and entrepreneurs had to be one of inspiration but also credibility. The final narrative was set on the values of Advancement, the human need for constant evolution through a management of beginnings and opportunity. An experience of possible futures was added, to come to a unique value proposition. An ecosystem of applied technology that investors could look into for opportunity.
From this rich and consistent story a brand was born. Through a methodical naming process the unique ‘Farside’ noun was created. It expresses the ambition to go further, to reach a place no one has been to before. The comet became a strong symbol of inspiration, opportunity and long distance that could bind the narrative together. And finally a graphical language using gradings to compose information solidified the story of advancement.
