For more than 30 years the Fundació MACBA has been the driving force behind MACBA (Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona). Indeed, the Foundation backed up the Museum ever since just a few devoted citizens and art founders were aware of it. Along its history, it played a crucial part in the transformation of “El Raval” neighbourhood, where the museum is placed. To build a private collection and to help directors to pursuit their visions, has been the mission of the Museum through years.

This book celebrates and points out all the different eras and episodes in the history of MACBA as same as the crucial role of its foundation. It is a homage to the white colour, rooted in its architecture. Furthermore, the book exposes a printed white colour that reacts different through the three types of papers that the book has.
