Innovating with Beauty

We were asked to create the poster/calendar for ‘Innovating with Beauty’ a series of events and exhibitions presented by The Italian General consulate, the Italian Cultural Institute in San Francisco and Giannino Basseti Foundation.

The activities took place during San Francisco Design Week and included exhibitions from Poltrona Frau, Cappellini and the New Italian Design, by Triennale Design Museum of Milan.
We produced a double sided poster, on one side we formed the shape of Italy using silhouettes of products that were on display throughout the exhibitions. The reverse of the poster acted as a calendar for the events. Printing it in one color, a lovely Ferrari red, we created a simple, bold design that could be folded down and handed out to visitors during design week as well as being displayed as a poster at the Italian Cultural Institute in San Francisco.
