Inside Mucho´s Socratic Design Workshop at OFFF Festival 2025
During OFFF, apart from our co-founder’s Marc Català’s insightful talks that took place live onstage, featured in our previous article Mucho on My Life in Design podcast, we also had the opportunity to host two days of Socratic Design workshops; offering a glimpse of More, The Programme; our innovative initiative that approaches design through the lens of a strategic business.
Over the past decade, the title of Chief Design Officer (CDO) has been gaining prominence across a range of industries. Leading companies like Apple, Airbnb, Tesla, Nike, and Microsoft have embraced CDOs within their executive teams—indicating how design is increasingly shaping corporate strategy and culture. As this shift continues, it becomes increasingly important for designers to equip themselves with the strategic mindset, business fluency, and leadership tools needed to succeed at the highest levels.
“I love design, but there’s still so much more to explore”
Preparing Tomorrow’s Creative Leaders
Responding to evolving industry demands, we have developed More, The Brand Executive Programme, in collaboration with Eina. This programme is designed for experienced designers, who are ready to transition into leadership roles, hence it is tailored to accommodate a full-time job.
Inspired by Marc Català’s and Pancho Tolchinsky´s; co-director of the programme, beliefs in “sharing knowledge to empower the next generation”, this programme is built to foster growth beyond the craft. It blends design thinking with strategic business tools, equipping creatives with the knowledge, mentorship, and leadership mindset needed to thrive at the executive level.
Loved every second of the workshop. Thanks guys!
Socratic Design Workshops
At OFFF festival 2025, we brought More´s philosophy off the page, and into the room with two immersive Socratic Design workshops. During these sessions, participants were able to get a glimpse of the programme’s approach, one that is rooted in dialogue, reflection, and shared inquiry. The workshops created space to pause, reframe, and think deeply together, from the rush of the festival, allowing to uncover clarity and meaning. The atmosphere was intimate and charged with focus, openness, and mutual curiosity. It wasn’t just a workshop—it was a moment to experience how the programme’s mindset turns strategy into design, and design into leadership.
“…to me, generating a strategy is designing.”
The Design Mindset
At Mucho, design is more than an output, “it’s a way of thinking, that shapes leadership, culture, and growth.” For Marc Català, creative work and management are part of the same process: designing environments where people thrive, ideas grow, and talent is nurtured. This belief drives More, our executive programme that helps experienced designers move beyond execution and step with confidence into meaningful leadership.
