Turning one of Spain’s most respected publishing houses into a contemporary cultural brand
Alianza Editorial becomes Alianza, marking a new chapter with a new identity designed by Mucho.
For 60 years, Alianza Editorial has been a cultural institution closely tied to Spain’s intellectual life, with a formidable catalogue and a longstanding reputation for book-cover design.
As the publishing house evolves beyond its traditional perception, the new identity brings its heritage into a more contemporary, recognisable and culturally relevant context.
We moved from Alianza Editorial to simply Alianza, giving the brand a broader cultural role and greater strategic scope. Removing “Editorial” allows the name to stand on its own, positioning Alianza as a connector across generations, ideas and culture.
The logo evolves without breaking with its legacy, introducing a new symbol for a new chapter. It celebrates Alianza’s journey while projecting a more open, clearer and contemporary expression.
