The Ibiza Gran Hotel is the only 5-star grand luxury and art hotel on the island. Since the location is surrounded by sea, everywhere you look there is a horizon. We crafted an identity to embody this spirit — horizons formed by the intersection of both natural and manmade elements. Working alongside photographer Rodrigo Diaz Wichmann, we created a library of “horizon” compositions from both obvious and inconspicuous viewpoints. These images celebrate the uniqueness of the location — and unify the broad range of touchpoints that guests experience. An elegant symbol inspired by the natural beauty of the location serves as the hotel’s hallmark ’signature’ on branded materials, while a sparse but flexible typographic system captions the natural space of each branded communication.
