A flag stands for cryptocurrency
Ennlo was born as a new peer to peer exchange platform for cryptocurrency. Bearing in mind that cryptocurrency’s environment is typically addressed to a specific kind of consumer – like tech-savvies and innovative economists – and that it sometimes generates distrust within the rest of consumers, Ennlo’s value proposition was focused on showing it as an easy, accessible, fun and popular marketplace. One that anyone, even first-time investors, could join, becoming a meeting point of a variety of rich products.
Crypto trading has the value of freedom on its nature, but this platform would be giving freedom to anyone wanting to trade with any cryptocurrency: from everywhere, with everyone, and anyhow. So the platform took freedom as the main core value. This is the reason for a flag becoming its symbol, and the tagline of the brand, “A new culture for crypto trade”.
Like in a town’s market, the narrative also needed to express a component of community. Because of this, colour and personalisation had an important role on the brand identity: each user would be represented by its own flag, with a chosen symbol and colour.
Mucho, along with Reed Words, had the challenge to create the naming for the project. It had to be easy to spell and say, being memorable and it had to sound friendly. This is why it contains the “lo” of “hello”. It also had the requirement of easily becoming a verb like “google it” – “ennlo it”.
