Can Ferrereta is a brand new hotel located in the charming town of Santanyí on the island of Mallorca. The property is housed in a beautifully restored old village mansion, making it the perfect base for those who seek to explore the nearby stunning beaches and experience the laid-back Mediterranean lifestyle. Guests will be delighted by the local markets, historic churches, and charming restaurants that are all just a short stroll away. One of these charming restaurants is Ocre, the main restaurant of the hotel. Ocre invites guests to discover honest and uncomplicated food, in which seasonal produce sourced from the best local suppliers is the star of the dish. With its focus on local ingredients and simple yet delicious preparations, Ocre perfectly embodies the relaxed, authentic vibe of Can Ferrereta.
To create a unique visual identity for Can Ferrereta, we drew inspiration from traditional village signage. We incorporated a vernacular stencil typeface and textures derived from the local trees, as well as from the typical Santanyí stone. These elements were combined with other textures from the island’s surroundings. The result is a sophisticated visual language that blends classic references with contemporary aesthetics, perfectly suited for this luxurious space.
