Pikok is a bicycle brand with a simple value proposition: customized bikes at affordable prices that can be delivered within 48 hours.
And yet behind such a simple stance we discovered a rich and profound narrative, that could be expanded in many directions for the brand. What is customization but identity? And what is identity but a choice? Customizing your bicycle is a lifestyle gesture that might seem mundane, albeit playful and seemingly harmless. Far from it. To choose our ride is to choose ourselves. It is to choose who we are, and who we want to be. Andy Warhol said it best: ‘I am a deeply superficial person’. Maybe that is true for most of us.
Pikok offers the possibility to create your own personality, one bicycle at a time.

This strong and joyful narrative needed to be expressed through a strong, simple symbol, that could synthetize a whole brand culture. The peacock was the perfect choice. A herald of beauty, with feathers that simulate a thousand eyes, proud and colourful. Pikok was the naming proposal that stood out amongst the rest. But the name was just the beginning. The animal itself was not enough. The brand needed a human gesture, a sense of fun and positivity, a reference to customization, a reference to choice. This is the bird alone did not possess. And so the peacock turned into a hand forming the ‘ok’ sign. An ok for every set of choices that end in a positive conclusion. An ok for every bike that is ok. An ok for every Pikok.
